UUCR provides several opportunities for closer connections among members and friends. The following groups meet at the church and are open to all visitors and members. If you’d like more information, email our office administrator (admin@uuroanoke.org) and ask that your message be forwarded to the contact listed below.

• Men’s Group: meets every Tuesday at noon.
  Contact: Ron Salzbach (he/him).
  
• Women’s Group: meets the first and third Thursdays of the month at 12:30 pm.
  Contact: Lea Whitney (she/her).
  
• Writers’ Group: meets the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm.
  They gather to share poetry, fiction, and essays about their lifetime experiences. The only membership requirement is an offering of the written word. No formal writing education or training is necessary.

• Music Program: meets every Wednesday at 7:30 pm. All are welcome!

• Living the Questions Discussion: meets most Sundays 9:30 am–10:45 am to discuss books relevant to the social and spiritual issues present in our lives as Unitarian Universalists.
