As a new visitor – or even as a longtime UU! — it’s likely you’ve been warmly welcomed by one of the Connection Team’s friendly greeters in the foyer before Sunday service. They’re the ones with the especially big smiles and answers to whatever your initial questions might be. 

The Connections Team also works closely with the minister to provide resources, instruction, and meet-ups for newcomers who are either thinking about joining UUCR or who have recently joined as new members. (Learn more at Becoming a Member.)

Volunteering with the Connections Team is a great way to have fun and make a real difference in the life our church.  

• We meet the first Tuesday of every month, from 11:00 am-12:30 pm at the church.
• Two or three greeters serve (on a rotating basis) every Sunday from 10:40 am – 11:00 am Greeters work as a team to welcome and assist new visitors.
