Special Events

The Church grounds are beginning to look a little scruffy, so its time for our annual UUCR Spring Grounds Cleanup day. The plan is to spiff-up the church grounds for the coming summer season. There will be something for everyone… weeding, mulching, trimming, shoveling, hoeing, raking, minding and whatever else we find that needs to be done.

 – The event will to take place Saturday, April 27, 9 AM to 2 PM. The Rain date will be the following Saturday, May 4, 9 AM to 2 PM.

 – There will be coffee, juice and bagels available from 8:30 – 9:00 AM to be sure you have the energy to go the distance.

– Everyone is encouraged to participate. There are many types of jobs that need to be done.

– Prior to the clean-up day, we will email everyone a list of jobs that we want to accomplish. We will also have a better ideal of what tools everyone should bring.

 – Please RSVP Jerry Trammell (trammejm@gmail.com) if you plan to participate. This is important to help us plan what realistically can be done and get things setup for the workday.

– If you find yourself unexpectedly available on are the workday, drop-ins are welcome. 😊
